I had been a fan of Wild Rice's work for years.
I joined the team in 2021 and started to revamp their social media strategy, and to reach out to a wider, younger audience.

It was a pivot from journalism, but it made my heart swell.
After five years, the company has grown into their home in Funan, and we continue to tell stories that inspire, challenge and entertain.
People didn't know there was a theatre tucked away in Funan, a centrally-located mall in the Civic District.
We wanted people to come and watch theatre that told their stories, to see their lives reflected on stage, by people who looked and spoke like them. Not the Western musicals, not the big Broadway shows, but the ones that were Singaporean.
